Well the replacement kit has arrived and this time it was the correct kit I will post a review of the kit after its construction which will take some time.

Received the item in 4 weeks. Very nice collection.

The instruction of the building blocks is easy to follow, and the build of the kit is easy. I would love to buy others this series.

This was my first ever time buying from this site and I can say I am pleasantly surprised with how it turned out. The plastic obviously isn't as good quality as lego and i couple clear studs snapped when during the build, but nothing major, The bags are labelled which is really helpful! and the instructions were very clear. Overall a very good build took about 3 hours would recommend!

This set is nice. The ship has such detail and is not very easy to build, but it is a good addition to anyone who loves the pirate sets.

my first time with BuildingToyStore, This because I believe, that the costs for the LEGO version way to high are.

I bought the car here, because it was said to come with an "original" package. But it didn't, it came thrown together in a Package wich was also Damaged. So that was the first dumper.

Second dumper was, that the scaling in the manual ist not always 1:1, so that at times pieces are shown which are illustrated lager or smaller as in real life. So you have to constantly count the holes, or disassemble the car at one point or another, and try to swapping the pieces... it works... I know it... but its a dumper.

Third dumper was that the color black and dark gray cannot be held apart, so that (especially for the gear wheels) you have to look more than once, or run the risk of swapping later on.

Fourth dumper, some of the pieces, fit as they should, but are loose and not secure, so that they fall off if you're not careful and turn the car (for example) upside down.

All in all it is a nice car, I do not have a direkt comparison to the LEGO version, but from what I see on YouTube, the LEGO version is somewhat more stable and the pieces fit better together, without coming loose. (2 Fotos with parts that are somewhat loose and fall off)

But all that I can perhaps even accept, for the price. What really bugs me ist the fact that I bought the car with the box. Being the reason why I bought it here at buildingtoystore.com. And no box was delivered.

Fast delivery and good packaging. This Sandcrawler set is huge, but relatively simple to assemble. The bricks have good quality. However, the instruction manual could be clearer in steps and printing color.

It took over a month to receive the item, and they reply message very slow.

Fantastic first impression. Ordered from the uk and it arrived faster than I thought. The kit it self is well built and the only difference I can see from my Lego version is the Lego version has Lego stamped on the bricks. I bought this as a low cost way of building an alternative model from the set. I highly recommend and I will be buying from buildingtoystore agian

In an update to my earlier review I have been contacted and informed that a replacement kit has been shipped I will continue to update this review after I receive the kit. Response time wss reasonable this time.

The delivery is relatively long, but the packaging seems complete.

Item came quickly and all parts (including instruction manual) were there. Once built it blew my mind away how awesome to details this set is. Highly recommend for any collector of Bat-mobile building sets.

So, after waiting for 5-6 weeks after the item was sold out, The item arrived pretty quick after i received the email stating it had been shipped.

Overall, the Set is of good design, and the instruction manual was very easy to follow, although it wasnt a 100% accurate.

However, there are a few flaws with the product

Firstly, the bricks themselves are generally a good fit, however, there are a few that are very loose, and if you have to move the model, can easily fall off.

Secondly, there was approximately 10 pieces that were missing, luckily i could add them from my own personal stock.

There are a few other parts that do not fit snugly together, for example the middle leg mechanism, if you move it, the middle leg will fall out.

If they bricks were designed to fit better together, you would have definitely got 4 stars. If all the pieces were there it might even have got a 5.

Overall, you pay for what you get, yes you save your money on a product such as this, but sadly the standard does drop.

Very disappointing product. Parts are poor to fit and some are too tight. Poor product. I would NOT buy this product.
